You Can Find Your Favorite Cartoon Characters In Southern California
Recently I’ve had the chance to visit some of the great theme parks in Southern California. If you would like to see some of the beloved animated movie and TV characters “live” these parks are the place for you.
The first place we think of is Disneyland, the hangout for Mickey, Donald and all their buddies. If you’d like some good information about planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort, check out the SoCal Vacation Guru. Disney has no-doubt done the most effective job of bringing imaginary characters to life, much to the delight of us all.
Nearby Knott’s Berry Farm has its own crew of lovable characters with Lucy, Snoopy and the Peanuts team at Camp Snoopy. Knott’s has done a nice job of absorbing Charlie Brown, his faithful pet and their friends into their culture.
Your next stop would be Universal Studios Hollywood and the many TV and movie stars such as Betty Boop, the Hulk, Batman and Spiderman, joined most recently by Homer Simpson and his wonderful family. You can find some good details about Universal Studios Hollywood from the SoCal Vacation Guru.
The final stop in the character caravan would be up I-5 an hour or so, to Six Flags Magic Mountain. According to the SoCal Vacation Guru, Six Flags is best known for its roller coasters and other thrill rides. It does not take long to figure out that the Looney Tunes people are in charge of public relations.
You will find Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and the Roadrunner, some of whom hang out with the guests. To provide additional fun for small children, there is an area set aside for them, with a strong emphasis on the characters (not everybody wants to just hit the roller coasters). It is fun for kids and adults alike to meet these well-behaved celebrities, and you can find them at various spots on the Mountain.
